The use of this navigation tool is fairly self-explanitory. Use it to explore each of the various member sites in the Webring as you see fit.
The use of the graphics shown are optional. Feel free to download them to your own server and include them in your navigation toolset.

Joining the Classic '60's Triumph Spitfire Webring
To join the Classic '60's Triumph Spitfire Webring, fill
out the form below. The sequence of events you will begin is
detailed immediately below the form for your convenience.
Your email address entered below will not be
available to the public from the Webring index; it is for
administrative purposes only.
What Happens After You Submit the
Form
Filling in the above form will add
your site's information to the Spitfire Webring Queue. Once it is
there it will be considered for admission to the ring. After the form
is submitted, perform the following steps:
- When the form is completed, you will be assigned a site
ID. Please write that and your password down, or copy the e-mail notification from us to a separate directory for safekeeping. You'll need the site ID and passcode to modify your listing later.
- Next, you will need to add the
appropriate HTML code to your page to identify it as part of the
Classic '60's Triumph Spitfire Webring. Click on this
link to obtain code samples. Just highlight and copy the proper
HTML code fragment. You'll need only a basic knowledge of HTML to do this.
- Once you've pasted the appropriate HTML code fragment into your
website, remember that you will need to replace certain tags in
the sample code with the correct information for your site! The
tags you will need to replace include: SITE-ID, which should be
replaced with the Site ID number you were given; SITE-NAME, which
should be replaced with the name of your website; and
SITE-OWNERS-EMAIL, which should be replaced with the site owner or
administrator's email address. This address will not be
made available to the public directly from the Webring index.
- If you have copied your site graphics to any directory other
than the one in which your main page lives, you will need to
modify the pathnames in the HTML tags that identify the location of the image files. For more information on image files, and how to download them,
- Once you've added the Webring code and graphics to your page,
email
me and ask that I include your site
in the Webring. This step is necessary so that sites in the Queue
may be reviewed and approved for entry according to the requirements
listed above.
- When your site is reviewed and added to the Ring, an e-mail
message will be automatically generated and sent to you informing
you of this. Please allow up to three business days for this to occur before you start getting antsy.
- That's it! You're done. Welcome to the Triumph Spitfire Webring!
