"Spitfire vs. Messerschmitt (cars, not 'planes!)"

Slightly tongue-in-cheek article from The Telegraph a few days ago:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/classiccars/7952174/Battle-of-Britain-test-Spitfire-versus-Messerschmitt.html

Generally complimentary, but did bring up the subject of the dreaded wheel tuck.

I've met the car's owners once - lovely, but nutty. They live somewhere near the South Coast of England (can't remember exactly where), and travelled all the way to North East Scotland to pick up some old motorbike they'd bought at an auction. I met up with them for a drink, and to hand over a few months supply of Aberdeen Butteries, a local coronary-inducing breakfast delicacy. They also own several Bond Equipes. The car in the article I seem to remember is called "Baby Blue", a detail the newspaper failed to mention

Cheers all,

Richard

Yep! It is Suzie Singleton's "Baby Blue". She must be proud! I met Guy and Suzie a few years ago when they were in Valencia, CA for Triumphest.
