"Back from the Powder Coater"

Nothing makes my little heart go pitter patter like getting parts back from the powder coater. I have run out of stuff to powder coat, but I might consider having the powder coater redo the body which was messed up pretty bad by the real painter.

Anyway, Here are the pictures:

I had the hard top hold down brackets powder coated and crinkle painted. Who knew you could powder coat crinkle? I didn't till I asked and was pleasantly surprised.

I had the radio blanking plate powder-coated mostly because I no longer have a sand-blasting cabinet. It was done in trusty semi gloss black. I am planning to crinkle paint this too, but I want it to match the rest of my interior parts, so I will do that myself if I do, and I would do it after I cut the necessary holes for the radio.

I had my convertible top frame powder coated too, even tho I'm not planning to get a soft top for at least another year or two. But since I was heading to the shop, I took this with me. I had it done in beige, as close to the paint that was on there as I could. I think the original had a tiny bit more blue in it, but this will be fine. My plan is to put a white top on it.
